Tales Of Three Mothers Who Have Given Up Their Children For Baby Adoption

Are you currently having an unwanted pregnancy? Planning to put your child up for baby adoption?

Before you decide on such a recourse, you might want to read this article as we talk to three mothers: Natalie (age 15), Gloria (age 19) and Angie (age 20). Natalie and Gloria gave birth to two beautiful girls, Angie gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. All of them got pregnant at such a young age. And all of them decided to give their babies up for baby adoption.

And now, if their feelings about the matter can be summarized in one word, it's "regret."

"I miss her every single day of the week," Natalie said. Giving birth to a child at the age of 14, Natalie felt that she wasn't ready for motherhood. She ran away from home while she was pregnant, and came back after a kind couple has adopted her baby. Natalie's mother never knew she got pregnant.

"If my mom knew about it, I think she would have helped me out in caring for the baby," Natalie added. "But I didn't know that at first. I was so confused. I was so scared."

Gloria, on the other hand, has a different story. She left her baby girl at the hospital because she, too, had so much fears and anxieties back then. She didn't even have enough savings to pay for her medical bills. 2 years after that episode, she's now on a quest to find her baby girl. "The sad thing about it is that I don't even know who adopter her," Gloria said. "I wasn't even able to give her a name, would you believe that?"

She tried to trace where her baby was brought, but the trail ended at San Antonio, Texas. "It's hard to look for someone who doesn't even carry my surname. I signed a fraudulent one on the hospital records."

Gloria admits that the call of motherhood is too powerful a feeling. "Day in and day out, I can hear her crying in my head. I want to be with her, to comfort her... but I can't."

Angie used to live life on the wild side. "All I wanted back then was to have fun," she said. "My life was one continuous party. When I got pregnant, I though the party will end." Hence, she decided to give her child up for baby adoption. Now, she's singing a different tune.

"All the fun in the world is nothing compared to seeing my boy's smile," she said, while fighting off her tears.

These are stories of mothers who have surrendered their children for baby adoption. Life was difficult for them back then, but now, the realization dawned that the joys of motherhood are worth every difficulty that they have to endure.

Sadly, such realization has come a little too late.
